Alexandr Beljajev:
Application of Multivariable Control Systems for Universal Multizone
Crystallizator

This paper presents some possible control algorithms for regulation of crystal growth while it is growing via directional solidification inside a multizone crystallizator. The task of the process controller is to establish a user-specified axial temperature profile and to maintaint desirable solid-liquid interface's parameters. Both single-input-single-output (SISO) and multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) control algorithms have been used to control the temperature. Comparison between the resulting SISO an MIMO is performed.

Thermic recycling of plastic waste
Recently, utilisation or destruction or deposition of wastes, of course, among the most important environment challenges the plastic scrap is great social and technical one in the World. Recycling of plastic scrap has an advantage against the deposition or incineration because the chemical energy of polymers and operation energy used for their production involves a loss. Investigating this loss we have found that it can be reduced by using a reduction agent in a metallurgical Process (e.g.: in blast furnace) or by converting to synthesis gas in a plasma furnace. According to the thermodynamically calculation the chance of arising the polychlorinated dioxins or furans has high possibility but their concentration less than the immission’s limit.

Research of the connection between the conformity of the product and the sample, with designed experimental method on metallurgical long products
My field of research connected with the quality, conformity, qualification process and evaluation for conformity of the products. At present we are specializing on the test of the process of the evaluation for conformity and the uncertainty of the rolled Boron steel product (ZF steel). We have made experiments in order to find how the differences between rolled and forged structures and the position of sampling influence the values of tooth impact test on toothed wheel.
